Apply Photo Effects
Applying effects to photos can improve their appearance and enhance your design. Changed to a black and white or sepia, for example, to give an antique feel. Here are a few of the effects available to you:
Brighten
Moves the balance of light and dark shades in the image more toward the light shades.
Darken
Moves the balance of light and dark shades in the image more toward the dark shades.
Gamma Correction
Changes brightness values of the middle range of gray tones without dramatically altering the shadows and highlights.
Black/White
Transforms a color image into a black and white image.
Sepia
Applies a brown and white coloration to the image like early 20th century photographs.
Mirror
Turns the image around, as if you were seeing it in a mirror.
Flip
Turns the image upside down.
Blur
Softens the focus or reduces the definition of the image.
Sharpen
Increases the focus or definition of the image.
Sketch
Simulates a drawing of the image (black and white).
Emboss
Makes the image look like foil has been placed over the image and it has been sculpted to the image's contours and colorized.
Impressionist Painting
Gives the image an artistic brushed look.
Negative
Reverses the color of the image.
Fish Eye
Simulates viewing the image through a fisheye lens--a lens that distorts the image to make the middle portion of the image appear larger and the outer edges smaller.
Mat
Add a mat--a clever border or frame--to a photo or edit an existing
mat.
Drop Shadow
Give a sense of depth and make your designs stand out by adding
a shadow to your photos or edit an existing shadow.
Video
